I want to know the Quranic and or islamic meaning of Sameer.

Sameer is derived from the root samara,
which means to talk or chat in the evening or at night. It is associated with the idea of
night and day, because one may talk or chat during both. It was also said that sameer
means time or age, which are also associated with the idea of night and day.
