Some sinners, when we denounce them for their sin, say: “I am free to do what I want.” Are these words correct?.

Shaykh Muhammad ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allaah
have mercy on him) said:
“This is wrong. We say: You are not free to disobey Allaah, rather if you disobey your Lord you
can no longer call yourself a slave of Allaah because you have become enslaved to the Shaytaan and to whims and desires.”
